Senior Ministries Pastor Bobby Johnson | Raleigh First Church of the Nazarene




	Pastor Bobby Johnson was raised in the Church of the Nazarene from the age of 6 years old. After graduating from high school, he joined the US Air Force and served until 1975. Bobby retired from the US Postal Service in 2005 after 22 years of service. Pastor Bobby was saved in 1983 after a layman pursued him to turn his life over to Jesus Christ. Pastor Bobby says that he owes a debt of gratitude to John Widdifield for seeing something in him that he did not see in himself.

In 1988, the Johnson family moved to Colorado Springs, CO to attend Nazarene Bible College. Pastor Bobby finished his studies through CNBE in 1996. He served as associate pastor to Rev. Riley Powell for several years as Compassionate Minister and Visitation pastor. He presently serves as Senior Ministries Pastor at RFN.

	Pastor Bobby has been married for 30 years to Janet B. Johnson, who has faithfully served with Bobby in all his ministries. Bobby and Jan have two adult daughters: Christy and Rebecca. Christy is married to Jamie Austin, and they have two sons together, Hunter and Dalton. Pastor Bobby and Jan’s youngest daughter, Rebecca, is married to Adam Wall, and they have a daughter, Gabriella. And yes, they are the 3 most beautiful grandchildren in the world. It is Pastor Bobby’s continued desire to serve God with the whole of his life, and he dedicates his energy to serving the Senior Adults at Raleigh First.
