During this time of hustle and bustle, take some time to fill up a Groceries-to-Go Bag for Raleigh Rescue Mission.  Groceries-to-Go bags are due by December 18th.

If you can not personally afford to get everything on the list, please do what you can.  This is a great opportunity for C-NET groups or families and friends to do together.  help us Serve the World together through helping those in need.

Please place the following items in a reusable cloth bag:

1x 3 pound canned ham

2x 15 oz cans of corn, green beans or garden peas

3x 29 oz. or 2 40 oz. cans of yams or sweet potatoes

1 box of instant oatmeal (usually 10 packets) variety pack

1 small jar of peanut butter

1 box of crackers

1 box of muffin or quick bread mix

Holiday-themed paper napkins, plates and cups, disposable tablecloth.

May 7th– Raleigh Rescue Mission Festival of Hope– Fun activities for the whole family. RFN will have a booth that children can make flowers in vases for their Moms for Mother’s Day. We need volunteers to man the booth and some to help set up and take down the booth. The festival  runs from 10am –2pm.

We also need the following to make the flowers: tissue paper (different colors), glue sticks, pipe cleaners, stickers to decorate the vases, leaves to put on stems. Please bring any of the above you have either to the church office or to Joy Holland or Meshelder Richardson  in the foyer by next Wednesday, April 20th .
