Lest we forget our own.
May we always stand vigilent in their hour of need, always in prayer.
Please continue to pray for the Lockard's for health, safety and for Nazarene Theological College.
Continue to use the Lockard's in preparing those students for service!

As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the LORD is flawless.
He is a shield
for all who take refuge in him.

Letter From The Lockard's
To our wonderful Church family at RFN.
We bring you greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
It is Him that we serve and all that we do we seek to honor and glorify Him.
It is a remarkably warm, summer day here in Johannesburg, South Africa.
God has been so good to our family and it is our great privilege to serve him as missionaries to this great land. We are anticipating the arrival of the RFN Work and Witness team in Sept. 2007. We are already praying that God will bless you for His sake.
We want to sincerely thank each of your for praying for our family over this past year. Although we have met with some physically challenges, God’s Hand has been upon us in every way – because of good folks like you who remember to pray for us.
No missionary can survive the challenges on any mission field without the prayer support of those from the churches back in the USA. Great challenges await those who seek the spiritual transformation of a dark and desperate people in third world areas of our world. Yet, God is to be praised for all that He has done and is doing.
Chuck shared with you that he led a young refugee man from the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the Lord about two years ago. Elvis was a car guard ( one who watches over your can in any parking area so it is not stolen) that Chuck spoke to and led to Christ. Just yesterday, another man approached Chuck in the same area and said: “Pastor, you are friends with Elvis, right?” Chuck said, “Yes, I am. How can I help you.” The man replied, Ëlivis is a wonderful man of God. He told me about you. And then Elvis began speaking to me about my soul and my need of Jesus. Elvis helped me to find Christ and now I, too, am serving the Lord. Thank you, pastor, for being faithful to the Lord’s work.”
That is what it means to be a missionary for Christ. Not just in a foreign land, but ANYWHERE Christ puts you. Jesus wants us to live a lifestyle of holiness that others may see and know that we are different because of what Christ means to us.
My prayer for each of you at RFN is that you will allow Christ to transform you into all that He wants you to be. And in two years time, when we retire from World Missions, we will return to RFN to find the building bursting at the seams with men, women, and children, who have found a special relationship with Jesus Christ. Our time is short and all that we do for Christ must be done quickly.
Thank you for being such a great blessing to our family. We love you, we miss you, and we can’t wait to see many of you again in 2009.
Love one another,
Support and love your pastor and family.
Make a difference in your community for Christ.
With our love,
The Lockards: Chuck, Anna-Marie, Annique (and Romeo, too!)
