3-D Ministries is based on the commission that Christ gave the disciples found in Matthew 28:18-19. Here Christ instructs his disciples to go into all of the world and make disciples and teach them to obey all the things he has commanded them. We believe this call is to us as well and we have broken it down into three specific calls:
Discover-
The first part of becoming a disciple is to discover God's grace and forgiveness found in his son Jesus Christ. The bible makes it clear that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one can come to the creator of the universe except through the Son: Christ Jesus.
Discipline-
After confessing and repenting from our sins we must learn how to live a disciplined life. Whether you are trying to run a marathon or lose a couple of pounds, it takes work. The old cliché has it right “If you keep doing what you have always done, you will keep getting what you have always gotten.” Christ calls his followers to be just that “followers.”
Display-
As we are being transformed by the Holy Spirit, God empowers us to be used by him. We were not created to live for ourselves rather to live for others. Love is one of those words that can only be grasped to the level in which one has experienced it. Disciples of Jesus by default of Gods love will love others, through work, witness, and way of life. |
